LOOK: ‘Luke Cage’ finds something fishy with a Pinoy resto

It’s not what you think, Luke!

‘Luke Cage’ star Mike Colter was attending Asia Pop Comic-Con here in Pinas to promote the popular Marvel series when he decided to scour Pasay for a quick bite to eat.

He eventually came across a resto suspiciously named ‘KKK’, which led the American actor to post about it on his IG, with the hilarious captions ‘What could possibly go wrong’ and hashtags ‘skip lunch’ and ‘I seem to have taken a wrong turn’

While the acronym in question stands for ‘Kainan sa Kalye Kanluran’, ‘KKK’ in the United States represents ‘Ku Klux Klan’, a notorious white supremacy group. Yikes!

Still, Pinoy netizens were quick on the save, commenting on Mike’s IG post to clarify, and even giving ‘Luke Cage’ a bit of a history lesson re: the OTHER use of ‘KKK’ (Kataas-taasang, Kagalang-galangan, Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan)

Still, we wish you tried ‘KKK’ out Mike. Heard it’s pretty good.
